Modernizing a Financial Trading Platform for the Web

Overview

At M4Software, I contribute to a project bringing an established Windows desktop trading application to the web. My work focuses on frontend implementation: translating detailed designs and existing workflows into browser-based interfaces using React and TypeScript.

The Challenge

I work with trading interfaces that combine dense information, interconnected controls, changing data, and workflows that users expect to behave predictably.

I contribute to interpreting established desktop interactions for the browser, managing application state, and maintaining consistency across data-intensive views and multiple windows.

• Translate Figma designs into frontend interfaces.

Technical Approach

I implement frontend interfaces using React and TypeScript, with Redux Toolkit as part of the application-state approach. KendoReact, Tailwind CSS, and Figma are also part of my component and interface implementation workflow.

I contribute reusable components and consistent UI patterns that provide a common foundation for related screens while allowing individual trading workflows to express their own requirements. My focus is balancing detailed interface requirements with components and state behavior that remain understandable as modernization progresses.
